Power system model with the hydrogen storage
Vávra, Robert ; Macháček, Jan (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
The objective of this thesis is creation of power system model with hydrogen storage in open source program Open Modelica. Thesis contain’s whole design of each part of the system, power source, electrolyser, tank, block of methanation and theoretical basis for they creation.
Storage systems for renewable energy
Šebek, Denis ; Linda, Jakub (referee) ; Poláčik, Ján (advisor)
The accumulation of energy by hydrogen technologies is an important topic for the advancment of energetics in the future. This thesis is based around different methods of accumulation of energy including acumulation of energy by hydrogen technologies. Furthermore, the thesis describes methods of hydrogen storage, its advantages and disadvantages, and the overall principle. In the last part of the thesis, a hydrogen accumulation plant is designed, which uses electricity from renewable sources as its energy source.
The effect of yttrium and samarium oxide nanoparticles on plant development
Brandová, Zuzana ; Soudek, Petr (advisor) ; Petrová, Šárka (referee)
This thesis is based on hydroponic experiment conducted on Hordeum vulgare with nanoparticles of rare earth elements in concentration 2·10-4 mol/L and REEs chlorides in concentration 3·10-4 mol/L. The comparison of the the effect on their acumulation of another nanoparticles in the sloution and normal medium is included as well. In this case the hydroxyapatite NPs were chosen in the same concentration as yttrium and samarium NPs. The role of type and form of the elements on their acumulation and impact is also studied. Negative effect of REEs was proven by enzymatic analysis that detects reducting enzymes and determination of plant pigment levels by high performance liquid chromatography. Because both types of substances can reduce reactive oxygen radicals. Acumulation of REEs was determined by ICP spektrometry. Key words: nanoparicles, reare earth elements, reductive enzymes, plant pigments, acumulation, oxidative stress

The time slope of radioiodine retention in patients a few days after 131I curative dose administration
MACHÁČKOVÁ, Věra
After comparison diagnostic half time and therapeutic half time was found out bigger diference then established variation. It leads to result that therapeutic half time and indirect radioiodine retention too is depending on applicated activity. According the measurement I can establish the date of dismission in patients with benign thyroid gland disease on the second day (at lower therapeutic activity) and the tenth day (at higher therapeutic activity) after administration therapeutic dose. In patients with malign thyroid gland disease the date of dismission can be established on the third day (at lower therapeutic activity) and the fifth day (at higher therapeutic activity) after administration therapeutic dose.
